MITRE ATT&CK is a knowledge base of attacker behavior from the US-based MITRE Corporation. It describes tactics and techniques based on observations from real attacks and lists mitigations for them. It is open and free of charge to use; companies, government agencies and security service providers use it to classify attacks and improve their defenses.
